Anyone know how these compare to the Streak XC?

Another streak, Katana, and streak spectrum plus were all flats brought over from Japan.
All were very fine racers that had an accommodating fit with response engineered. The only flat Nike brings over from Japan now is Zoom Rival sadly unavailable in US13.
The SSP being available now as a re release and at a boutique overpriced tells me it's not the same durometer and has some heavy stiff upper
I didn't have those shoes but I did have the original Nike Zoom Streaks back in the day. I also had a pair of Nike Mariahs that were produced back in 1980 - 1982. One of the best racing shoes I ever ran in.

You’re probably right. I find it interesting nonetheless that this shoe caught someone’s eye for a “re-release.”
