Amazing!!! And yes, unless he breaks his own record again, I think this will last a loooong time. Like Paula’s, maybe.
Formal 02:01:39
Totally a GOAT
Bekele and Farah can retire NOW.
Rupp is now bleaker than ever, should just stick to those 2nd tier marathons in USA.

?
It was hot in Rio you jerk.

I think that we need to ask Mr Aduck2022
Dream on, guys.
god kipchoge would strike you down with a lightning bolt but he's too busy being awesome rio started at 75F going up to 81
you're officially banned from mentioning or thinking about kipchoge ever again.

Please delete the above post by Coevett, brojos. His hurt butt doesn't belong in this thread.
And lol at Chadweak. Times will be getting slower by the Kenyans blah blah
Broadcast video
Eliud Kipchoge clocks 2:01:39 to break the men's Berlin Marathon.
Eliud Kipchoge and group training - 15x1000m two weeks out to Berlin 2018
Kipchoge just sent Bekele into retirement...
Should make Farah think of it too!

I don´t know if Kipchoge is doping, but at least his training group isn´t hiding somewhere far away from testers.
This is awesome! Yes !!! He always gets the job done. Mind like a steal trap. Focus and consistency. He’s the man!
Absolutely great, 1:01':06" and 1:00'33" with last 17k alone and what impress is his shape and running form till the end.
His freshness after such a performance is really incredible. Is like he could have keep that pace for others many km.
The GOAT wins the Berlin marathon. The (supposed Erick Kiptanui's) rabbit wins the Copenhagen HM. What a day!

Will not be broken even until year 2100 unless Kipchoge brakes it
jgff,
I was thinking about it during the race. Kimetto's record was crushed to smithereens.
Haile Gebrsellasie's record is two minutes off! Think about that.
I thought Haile's record was going to last at least a decade.
I don't think there is anyone alive today (who is not called Eliud Kipchoge) who will break it!
The boy ran solo. He might give it another go and who knows? He might just as well get it.
I am also thrilled that it was Tim Hutchings who was calling it.. He brought life into an already lively event!
He's probably the Peter Drury or the legend, Ray Hudson of running (commentator).

STUNNED! ? SUB2 in the shade. OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I JUST SEEN?
El Keniano,
Eliud ran 2:00.25!
I don't care that it wasn't course eligible.
He ran it! He owned the record before today and frankly, this guy might do it again next year!
He might give it a go in London. He is a cut above.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
