Unfortunately, yes. Which is strange because this run changes nothing and should spark no “new” discussion. Dude went 2:00:25 before this. Not saying he’s clean (although I obviously hope so), just saying this should not be surprising. If anything, his last two 2:03s were surprisingly “slow”.

The 2:00:25 was under very controlled conditions to say the least. His improvement at his age (he's apparently 4 years older than what his federation has claimed for him) is head scratching. Hell, if he is the age claimed for him it's bizarre. He's doped. The guys who said the doping machine and officials would double-down after Kiprop was caught were right.
