Lol, they're acting like Tadese has finally figured out the marathon now that' he's broken 2:09. Not really.
We get pissed when London goes out at 61min pace with a downhill start. Kip just went out in 61 flat and negative split !!!!!!

2:01:40, hugs Patrick Sang, gnight folks.
Galen would hug Alberto too but Galen still has one mile to go. Kipchoge could not run 2:01:40 in his prime. They have made a mockery of it.
The lack of true out of season and out of competition testing for E. Africans and political aid behind the scenes has made a mockery of things for 30 years.

Unbelievable!!! So happy to have witnessed this!
Likewise. Had to get up at 1am here. Now too wired to sleep. Looks like it's the Copenhagen Half for me. Going to have to change this morning's workout from a long tempo to an easy run & tempo it tomorrow after more than 2 hours sleep!
Did they just say official time is 2:01:39?
Kipchoge just dropped the mic ... he's the GOAT
Let the doping discussions begin lol
Wait! Isn't there a women's race in progress??

The problem with London was that they went out in 13,48.
Cherono 2K to go. 3rd Berlin win coming up and on C.R. pace

........what I REALLY want to know is..........who is the first AMERICAN-BORN!
Amazing time, but honestly, I understand everybody who can't believe this to be entirely clean.
When Eliud does interviews I can't help but smile constantly. He's such a good person.

Yes, 2:01:39 official!

Unfortunately, yes. Which is strange because this run changes nothing and should spark no “new” discussion. Dude went 2:00:25 before this. Not saying he’s clean (although I obviously hope so), just saying this should not be surprising. If anything, his last two 2:03s were surprisingly “slow”.
Women are well off the WR but 3rd, 4th, and 5th could be fastest ever for those placing. #depth
i was totally wrong - he made it. incredible, way better than breaking 2.
the last 400m i was staring at the wheelchair in fear that the guy will get in the way.
5k done i cph, women are going fast! 15:03 for the lead pack! Men just over 14 min but seem to have sped up.

Quit hating. Sugar is a nutrient, not a drug. If the other guys don’t want to take on as much as possible, that’s on them. I would be chugging Maurten every chance I got. Are you going to tell them they can’t carb load the night before next? As for the drugs, you may be right but even if you are, they are all on them and Kipchoge still comes out on top. By far.
Turns out Kipchoge finally learned what I knew all along. I had about eight Gu gels during my only marathon, and even though I finished over an hour after him, I didn't hit the wall at all.
Well done grasshopper.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
