Anyone run in both and have any feedback? Looking for an easy/long run daily trainer. Both seem to fit the mold but any feedback would be appreciated.

Pegasus 35 -> for long runs, or easy runs
Zoom elite -> less cushioning, you can use it for races or "faster" sessions
I'm a fan of Nike Pegasus and the 35 is definitely a good one!
Pegs 35s are definitely built for easy, long runs, but I personally hate the Pegs 35. I like the Pegs 34 where the fit is much better where I think 35s just don’t fit my feet well and doesn’t have a good ride.
I think zoom elites are awesome, but they’re better for faster running.
How do the Pegs 35 fit compared to the Zoom Fly?
I'm a 10.5 in the speed rival 6, I tried a 10.5 in the ZF and standing I had a thumbs width space but I think with the rocking motion I should have left even more space as my feet went numb, toes banged up on the toe box, and ripped my heel up.
Id like to know as well heard mixed reviews about the Peg sizing
I'm wearing 11 for Pegasus and Zoom fly but often 10.5 for other brands (NB, adidas)

Thanks I stuck with the same size as my Speed Rival 6. Hope they fit better than the Zoom Flys
Picked them up for $79.99 today at Finish Line for anyone else considering...Running Warehouse wants $120
Like to follow up after doing several runs.
Sizing runs true to size its the first time in a Pegasus model. The upper has a nice fit to it that forms to your feet I have wide feet so this is a nice welcome.
The shoe is firm unlike the speed rival 6 which is soft in the forefoot with the added rubber I don't feel the squishy feeling as I do in the rivals. But its not a firm that beats you up. Its a trainer and leaves your feet feeling pretty good after.
The stitched tongue to the upper is a nice touch as well.
It weighs about 10oz in a 10.5 but it certainly doesnt feel like it on your feet.
Overall seems like a solid shoe looking forward to seeing how these hold up since my severe supination usually kills shoes durability.
Picked it up at Finish line for $79, feels like a solid deal.
I know this post is from a while ago, but how does the fit of the Pegasus 35 compare to that of the Elite? I'm on my second pair Elites and find the toe box a bit narrower than the Elite 9, especially on the outside around my pinky toes.
Thanks
Peg 35s are great for everything except speed work. I’ve done a few tempos in them and will do strides in them on easy days but wouldn’t do a track workout in them.
For faster track stuff I use the Streak 6.
For most tempos or longer intervals I would go with the Peg Turbo. Another great shoe if you’re thinking about the Zoom elites.

I find the Peg 35 to be much more narrow than the Elite 10. And I have a relative narrow foot. As comparison, I find the Elite 10 to have a roomy toebox.
For those considering the Elite 10, the outsole is ultra thin. Good, light cushioning but easily punctured even on paved trails.

Thanks for the feedback! Too bad Nike made an everyday shoe fit so narrow. While I’m pretty happy with the Elites and use them for everything, sometimes I wish I had a bit more shoe, especially if I’m sore. I’m too cheap to buy the wide version of the Pegasus, since I’ve never seen it on sale. I’ll check out the Vomero 14 if I can find it in a store.
I'm the original poster and ended up buying both. I have over 200 miles into the Pegasus which is outstanding for me. I could only get 175 out of the Boston before my fat wide feet broke the upper and wore wore down the outsole.
I do feel the Pegasus 35 is wider in the fore foot but tighter in the heel. Which works for me. I feel the bootie material is more durable and stretches more. Its also a firmer shoe which is nice.
For comparisons sake I did try the Turbo and they are a lot more narrow.
A lot of runners just going with Pegs 34...you can find them all over of note the later models (6/18 made in China not Vietnam) fit wider. The only way I'd run in Pegs35 is in 2E which would be special order. There is also the Vomeros 13 on sale which has an accommodating upper like Pegs 34...
According to interviews, Brogan Austin did all of his training for CIM in Peg 35s. Don’t need anything else!
