What is there to "debate" about the statistics?
You're clever. Props.
The statistics are what they are. The point of many is, why the 'activism' of what amounts to 250 killings/year (and many justified in the court of law) and a large political/celebrity platform vs 6000+ killings/year with very little acknowledgement/activism from said politicians/celebrities
Again, what is 'injustice'?
In this case justice and injustice originally refer to the treatment of the alleged crimes within the US justice system, not the treatment of alleged crimes on in the media. The injustice is the differential treatment applied to the perpetrators of said crimes in these instances, in particular, the lack of punishment for unlawful use of force as well as the disproportionate response based on the color of the alleged perpetrators skin color. The criminals in the "6000+ killings/year" were all appropriately dealt with and the victims received as much justice as provided under the law.
What's at issue here is the 14th amendment of the constitution. I'm not a constitutional lawyer so I'm sure more experienced experts can disagree with the interpretation of the amendment, but regardless the degree of justice/injustice has nothing to do with any acknowledgement or activism shown in the media. That is simply an aftereffect.
