Geez, so all this time Nike was paying the guy. No wonder he did not really put any effort into looking for work. Much better to be the victim I guess.

I respect a guy who can stand up (or kneel, rather) for his beliefs even if many disagree with them.
For those who are planning to boycott Nike goods, I can say with certainty that Nike doesn't care, and will still continue to profit massively.
Also, it should be mentioned that the playing of the National anthem before SPORTING EVENTS is a mockery to begin with.
Nike just told the deplorables to SUCK IT. Everytime I see a guy with a Make America Great Again cap and a pair of Nikes on their feet I will thank them for supporting such a liberal company.
The didn’t stand up or kneel for anything
It was a desperate attempt by an athlete to remain relevant when he could no longer through performance.
His girlfriend was NOT going to date a B lister.
You think her plan worked? Years without anything athletic and now the face above all athletes.
What a joke, should just put Bruce Jenner up there
No, they make the best racing flats.

Me neither . I would for different reasons but they have the only shoes that don't hurt my Achilles' tendon.
Um the Adidas Ultraboost is the only shoe on the market that protects the achilles tendon.
Between the eight pairs of ultraboost I have for my son and I they didn't work for me. I still have two pairs that I use for other things. My sons school is addidas for football but nike for track. So I left the other six pairs for the homeless on the street during Texas Relays .

He grossed over $40M in salary from the NFL so outside of a gambling problem, he's in good financial shape.

Wonder if Kap knows or cares about Nike factory workers
What he did was super American. Standing up against tyranny is as American as one can get.

On a lighter note, Suzy Favor Hamilton had been considered for a Just Do Me ad campaign.
Excellent sense of humor.
White people pretending they wear Nikes when we all know they only wear New Balance

They deserve it for promoting that scumbag Kapernick.
I think I saw Phil Knight at Burning Man yesterday. He was riding a girls pink bicycle and wearing Crocs.
Let’s see... police brutality against blacks is a problem, so let’s make a poster about it so we can sell more shoes. Nothing like making a buck off the backs of victims.
Nike could open a manufacturing plant here, hire minority men and women and pay them a living wage, but I’m sure that “Kap” poster will accomplish so much more.
