Muir was simply better the last 200 today.
Houlihan had better hope you are wrong. If Muir can out-kick her, then Houlihan's in big trouble, since it's her kick that makes her dangerous.

Anyone wanna start taking betts about when Chepkoech will be popped?
Great to see Muir and Houlihan battling at the front. I think they can both run 3:53. The clean WR is in jeopardy.
So you think a woman can run 3:53 clean but not 8:44?
Steeple is crap. 1500 is perhaps the hottest event on track above 400m. Tons of talent tackled it over the years. Steeple, not so much.
True, and it's so frustrating that the steeple athletes never branch out so we can see what they do over 5000.

Muir's 800m PB is quite a bit quicker, though obviously Houlihan could better her's now.

Too funny - why does bowerman tc do this though?? Everyone knows there are huge benefits to racing.
Let's give USATF some credit here. They hold our championships weeks earlier than the European/ African champs, then can't be bothered to promote any racing opportunities on US soil after the college season. Granted they have tried in the past but gave it up.
I was talking about Bowerman tc not USATF
Once Caster is booted, Houlihan should step DOWN and give a go at the 800 again. She has 1:54-1:55 potential right now.
Similar story to Jakob I. Is running 1500/5000 but could have dropped a 1:44 this season.

Yeah... this is a man with no wheels. He should have moved to the marathon YEARS ago. What a waste.
Shelby Houlihan 74%
Sifan Hassan 15.6%
Gudaf Tsegay 6.8%
Laura Muir 2.4%

KENYA IN THE 5000m at the moment - :(((
Surprised Kejelcha is actually pushing the pace. We will finally see a sub-13 in 2018, possibly well under.
Are people watching this race?? It says 7:44 at 3k?? Is there a pack?? Looks like that should lead to sub-13 even with a slow 4th k as is the norm.
8:45 with 4 laps to go . Might we see a sub 12:50? Definiteoly getting a sub-13!!!
