I'm looking for a new goal to pursue this winter. This summer I ran a 4:52 road mile and have a bench press PR of 245lbs without seriously pursuing it. I'm 37 and currently weigh about 155.
I am looking to tap the vast LR knowledge base and see what you guys think, would this be a big accomplishment? I'd could set a bench up at the starting line and go from one to the next. Possibly I could do the bench and mile in less than 5 total.
I think 142 for 284 would be my sweet spot and I'm not really worried about the sub 5 part.
It got me thinking, who could likely do this, Webb, Symonds, Eaton? Or maybe that 50 year old dude that ran 2:30 in London and is probably juiced?
I'd give myself a 30% shot if I go after it.
Thougts, input, bashing?
