Anyone have any details on the 2019 Rome Marathon? I'll be in Rome anyway and want to run it. The website is pretty ambiguous and I've tried to email some representatives but to no avail. Has anyone run it in the past?

Hopefully Dennis Kimmteto will show up and drop a 2:06 I miss that guy.
Did you find any information yet? I too am looking how to run it
I ran it this year. It must have the most scenic, jaw dropping final 5 miles of any marathon in the world as it zig zags past all of the famous building and monuments. Also you run around and past the Vatican at just before halfway. I am UK based, Italian ruling states you must have a certificate to race in Itlay, this can either be a doctor's certificate, or a membership to a national athletics association. I am a member of UK Athletics (anyone can join in the UK for £30ish - you get discount race entry and money off vouchers for sports shops) not sure what the US equivalent is or if it exists. I found it pretty easy to enter on the website, obviously it's in Italian but there was an English version - think it was too right of screen. I entered around this time last year I think so assume registration is open.
The course is mainly flat, only hill of any note is at around 16miles but nothing too taxing.
I would definitely recommend it, paired with a weekend in the city it makes for an awesome weekend!!
I didn't run in Rome when I was there last April (had to babysit my family), but it's such a beautiful city with so much history. Shame that's filthy and with its infrastructure in a state of disrepair, but I still loved it. So much to see in every inch of the city. Gorge yourself with pizza and have some wine from the region!
Any news on this?
Just in case anyone is still following this thread, here's the link to the webpage for the Rome Marathon, April 7th, 2019. The old webpage is still up and linked to by Google but that company is no longer the official organizer. The instructions in English are clear with respect to paying extra for a "card" that permits you to run races in Italy.
