supernova (at least for men - didn't check women) is not even listed on the adidas site anymore...did they discontinue this and the ST???

Didn't the Solar line replace it?
I am not positive; Adidas is dead to me.

I think so. The solar glide is supposed to be the replacement but I wasn't a fan of the solar boost, and don't imagine the solar glide is much different tbh.
My initial thought was "no way," but I just looked at Running Warehouse, and the only Supernova models are in the clearance section. They deleted the "Supernova" category.
Crazy. I thought this was one of their most popular shoes.
Saucony has gone to the ISO fit with most of its shoes. Apparently, the Supernova did not make the cut.
The new Ride ISO fit it too tight over the top of foot, imo. The Triumph ISO is sweet but at $159 a little pricey.
The Solar Glide replaced the Supernova aka Supernova Glide aka Glide line. The Solar Glide is not too far off from the awesome Glide 8. It’s a big improvement on the 2017 Supernova. Almost as good as the Glide 8 - maybe a better upper, but your may preferences may vary
The Solar Boost replaces the old Energy Boost line. I’d given up on that line after the second generation, so I can’t say how the Solar Boost compares to the last generation of Energy Boost.
I do like the Solar Glide and it’s currently my go-to general aerobic training run shoe. I prefer something lighter for speed work and races.
Why can't we just let a good thing be?
Hi,
I found the supernova (9) a bit bulky and heavy on the heel, a little too unstable and a bit sluggish until you pushed them. I found the saucony triumph iso 3 a better shoe - more breathable, stable and more fun to run in. I tried the new solar glide briefly and it does seem better than the older supernova, not as heavy feeling with a bit more response but I wonder how breathable it is as the solar boost is a hot shoe to wear (my feet hated them - they sweat to quick in them). I preferred the skechers go run ride 7, smooth , responsive, versatile and cheap.
Cheers
Steve
In my opinion the Supernova line was too bulky, it was difficult to use those shoes as allrounders. Easy runs were fine but if you wanted to go faster, it didn't feel right.

That's good to hear, the 2017 Supernova was a horrible shoe, bloated, mushy, etc...I wasn't too alarmed since I'd stocked up on the GB6/7/8 on the cheap and was hoping they'd come to their senses at some point and resurrect that great line of shoes that does wonders for easy runs, long runs and M Pace. Yes it's a bit sluggish for TPace but that's where the Boston's come in !
Checking around to see if it's true as I got my pair a few months ago really late from an off price store. Fell in love with this shoe over the summer, it can truly do everything. It appears there's a few left over pairs in random variations and sizes: https://www.adidas.com/us/supernova-shoes there also seems to be some on Amazon and Sierra and other places. Oh well, back to checking the discount stores for the pairs that haven't been bought yet and eBay.
