I believe from what I have read, it is Grant Fischer of Colorado.
Also, I noticed added Tim Ritchie and Allie Kieffer. Could be a game changer!

I think it's great that Cabral is ready to move up to longer distances on the championship level. Could he surprise everyone? Will Tuliamuk run away with the women's win? Will Sarah Hall come from behind and surprise her like Stephanie did at Peachtree? Will One of these lesser known men take control at 10 miles after the last hill, and put the hammer down? Will the weather be as good as the forecast shows? Will the 350 lb. lady with velvet pants and flip flops cruise with the lead pack once again? Will Landry get his revenge? Will someone from the Hanson's team, once again show that hard work pays off? Will Allie Kieffer silence everyone ? These are questions, I want answers to. And I want them now!!
Ritchie FTW. He's been living and training in New Haven for the past year or so. Home course advantage.

I can assure you two things:
1. I did not post what you are quoting.
2. It's not any of the athletes I directly wrote workouts for. None of them get on LetsRun. I assume that you think I was a stopwatch holder since you put the word coach in quotations... I'm not going to have that battle with an anonymous hater on LR. You obviously don't have any inside view on my involvement. The poster you quoted either doesn't realize how good this field is (and thinks I'm in better shape than I actually am), or is just another anonymous hater, like yourself.
I can also assure you that I would be lucky to finish as high as I did last year. This field is much deeper. Let's just run the race and let the results be what they are. I shouldn't even be in this conversation, as I an a complete nobody next to these names. But, I'm glad to see I have haters that feel the need to post anonymously about me on LR.
We should race sometime...that is, if you're willing to put your money where your mouth is.
Not Anonymously,
Ryan Smith
Cool story, bro.
Look for Josh Izewski to be in the mix - he ran well recently at Crazy 8s and at Bix.
Sarah Crouch ran a 71 min half not long ago, so she's got a chance to nab the women's win.
Dear Mr. Polarbear. Mr. Ritchie moved to MA about a year ago, so....

Whatever. His wife graduated from Yale nursing this past June. He was training and coaching all last year in new haven.
Alright...a lot has changed since the thread started.
Men: Ritchie, Landry, Lenny, Hehir, Kibet with Braun and Mock challenging.
Women: I don't know....some mix of Hall/Bawcom/Tuliamuk/Keiffer/Bates.
And yet still more... Noticed Luke Puskedra added and Tuliamk is no longer on the list. Does this spell victory for Sarah Hall or Sarah Crouch?
Does anyone know if there will be a live feed of this race?
Scherf is out
Not Ryan
Women: Battle of the Sarah's Hall and crouch
Men: Ritchie, Korir, Lagat
