Ritz just signed a contract with Hoka and will try to make the Olympic trials. Hopefully he can pull a Carlos Lopes and win gold at Toyko.

Still with Hanson’s and is back to being healthy.
No doubt USADA is still testing him 14 times a year while proper active cheats running sub 10, 20, 44 or 3:57 aren't being tested.

Except Lopes was a multi World Champion and an Olympic Medalist when he won Gold. Also his off years were notable at the time but really not as lengthy as they seemed.

Yah, okay. It's not about how hard you train, it's about what you do in the race. Ritz and injuries seems to be a broken record that we've heard a few too many times!!! Or how about this one, he actually makes it to the start line of a race and then has to pull out early with a weird calf strain of some sort. He seems too fragile for the marathon. I wouldn't even bet on him making the start line of the trials. Has he raced recent enough to even have a qualifier??

If he didn't want to be tested so much he shouldn't have broken WADA infusion limits.
As a former olympian, Ritz gets to run in the trials no matter what.
Any former marathon olympian can run in it (Ryan Hall could decide to enter if he wants, same with Joanie)
Ritz is actually dealing with a minor calf injury currently. After the whole hip injury for Boston he was healthy until recently. The plan was to run Frankfort but that’s unlikely now.

Can Jim Ryun run in the 1500m?

He doesn't mind being tested. He actually would like to be tested daily so that everyone knows he's clean.
Strained a ligament in his finger while penning his retirement notice. Rest and rehab before he can write again.

Per the man himself (he was gracious enough to talk to me briefly when I saw him at Crim last weekend), he has been running well and is currently dealing with some “typical aches and pains” but nothing that has significantly limited his training. He looked fit, but even when out of shape he can’t be much more than 125 so who the hell knows.

Only 2016 Olympians get the auto qualifier.

kudos to Ritz for being approachable and pleasant with the fans and fellow runners. That's just from the one experience I had (warming up in downtown New Haven before the 20 K) but its the random moments that give you a good sense of the person.

Sub 10 20 and 44 are reasonable to get tested but a 3:56 miler or one that probably doesn’t even win prize money?
Marathon Olympian not 1500 you dope

I believe that Subway is referring to Shelby Houlihan, because apparently that is too good to be true and slandering someone with evidence is okay.
