Why do you think Willis ran Foulmouth?

I was there. Schlachtenhafer (??)tailed Schneider the whole way . Brook Feldmeier rabbited them in 2:12 with those 2 and McGee away from the field . Schneider and schlachtengafer were stride for stride the last hundred when she just fell down on her own, got up and finished just ahead of McGee. Coogan was announcing and said she dove for the tape , but when he said it , she shook her head “no” . Stinks because she was running 4:27.,
Looks like she would have won.

I was just past the finish line . Looked like a dead heat then she just blew up .

Because when the link to the results was first posted, this year's results weren't up yet. So when you clicked on the link, you ended up at a page that said 2018, but had the 2017 results, with Nick's name. It was confusing.
I guess you had to be there.

Thanks for filling in the details. Just looking at the picture, it's hard to tell what happened. It looks like she dove for the line, except that she's way too far back.
I hope she's ok.
How were the races otherwise? The video I saw last year made it look pretty fun.
Horrible year for Blankenship and Mead. Let's hope they step it up 19/20.
What an odd finish wrote:

Yeah, the two were going hard and suddenly she took two flayng steps like she popped a hamstring. Props for her for getting up and getting second. Definite fun event. Big crowd. Just beat some rough weather.
