He didn't run Mile today and is not in the DL final. Does he have anymore races for 2018?
If Murphy can't train with him maybe that is why he did not run well in the 800.

NOP posted some photos of Centro training with Murphy last week. I’m not sure why he didn’t race today though. The only other competition left that I think he would do is 5th Ave mile next month. Maybe he picked up an injury in the last week?
Centro has rested on his Olympic gold laurels for sure. He can do that the rest of his life but I'd like to see more next year.

What? No even close to being done.
Dude. It is all about 2019 and 2020. This is an off year. He is back in form, so now it is all about training than it is racing.
His racing this year is nothing but training sessions, same thing for Murphy. I'm pretty sure that is the direction that NOP has for them.
Centro and Murphy have run real solid times this year, and both are USA Champs. There is no need to shoot for anything else. Neither one of them can afford a set back.
Done for the season? No, he’ll probably race 5th Ave.
He scratched Birmingham because he does not adjust well to traveling overseas. Jet lag kills him. After London he returned to Portland. Why fly back to Europe, with little time to adjust, for a non-DL Mile when you don’t need the pay day?
