Earlier this morning Eliud Kipchoge posted a photo of himself wearing a pair of Nike shoes that I have not seen before. I have linked the photo below if anyone would like to make a guess.

He has replaced this picture with a new one that does not show what shoes he is wearing.
They are the Nike airbags. Just a prototype, not on the market yet.

I believe those are Hoka soles on a Nike upper.
Well, that would be ideal! All serious runners know that Hoka soles are by far the best in the business and nike has the most visually appealing shoes by far. What a great combination.

Just stop. Seriously. This is a prototype of a shoe coming in late 2019. Currently in development, hence Nike's request to remove the initial picture.

Prototypes. They’re working on a Vaporfly that has the carbon fiber plate AND an airbag as well as Flyknit uppers.

They use the Zoom X foam and have the racing stripe its just a different colorway.

That's not an accelerometer. Just new tech of which I cannot be more specific about. MAJOR things coming out of Beaverton through 2020. It all starts in October.
