Running/hobby jogging for about 10 years, finally trained seriously with Pfitzinger over past 3 years (average 60 miles/week over 18 weeks) to complete a marathon at a (for a 35 year old) respectable time. But every marathon I run, I get sick in last 10k and have to slow down so as not to vomit on the smiling spectators.
My cardio and muscles are fine and I recover almost immediately an hour after finishing (so I'm not sure what other training would help). I've tried out different kinds of fueling, drinking less water or more water, etc. Nothing seems to work. Has anyone tried anti-nausea medication while running? Any other suggestions?
