My daughter leaves for practice every morning on empty. She doesn’t eat or drink anything at all before she leaves. Just hops out of bed and goes. Stays up late and doesn’t eat that well. Pizza rolls are her favorite food! She’s a freshman and a pretty strong runner. Looks to be between 3-5th girl on team. That’s based on time trials they’ve done so far. About; of them. Doesn’t have a ton of experience and won’t listen to my nutrition advice. Is this common? To me they seem to be running a lot! More than she a used to for sure. I’m afraid she’s going to crash and burn. Is this common? They practice every day at 6 or 6:30 am until 8:30. She’s probably doing at least 30 miles per week. Any advice out there! Or should I just let her figure it out on her own?
