Hey guys so i recently just did my gait analysis and also had an image screening sort of thing to see the arch of my foot and the results that i came back with have got me intrigued.
So i always thought i was a high arched foot runner however during the foot screen it came back that i was fully neutral on my right foot and neutral on my left foot too however this foot was pushing towards the high arch zone.
Anyway, after that i tried on a pair of neutral trainers and ran on the treadmill for about 20s at around 6.30p/m pace whilst they recorded me and they said it was one of the best they'd seen. My take off and foot strike is all neutral however i do slightly land crossed over like a scissor sort of action but besides that. All good.
Now ive been running in the nike zoom flys for around a year now and have had 3 pairs all of which have lasted around 500miles each and i feel good wearing those but after putting on a neutral shoe, i definitely feel an immediate difference. - my zoom flys feel almost suited to my feet whereas the neutrals feel uncomfortable until i acctually run in them.
What should i do and whats everyones opinion. Do i stick to what i have now still or do i get some neutrals and train/race in those after being told theyre suited for me?
Genuine replys only please.
