Anyone else who enjoyed the race?
It's so much more fun without those tranny freaks.

Agreed. Good race to watch!
What happened to all the Polish hotties who used to dominate this thing?

She probably left the sport, disgusted she had to run against male monsters.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing.
I had never even heard of the winner until I saw the line-up just before the start. she's run 1:58 a couple times but never in big meets.
she kinda crushed that last 50m too. need a replay for sure.
She was the defending champion, actually 1 and 2 had been the same athletes 2 years ago.
Best race so far. I’m watching on a FranceTVsport and they were willing their girl on. They’re interviewing her now, by the way, and she’s coming across as probably the most likeable female runner I’ve ever seen interviewed.
The French commentators also blow the English speakers out of the water. Surprised how knowledgeable Stephane Diagana is. And Yoan Diniz (notorious walker from Rio Olympics) comes off as empathetic to the athletes no matter the event or country, knows his stuff too and has charisma in spades. Better than trained so-called sports journalists.

You know France was an evil colonial power in Africa too? Why don't you hate all French people?

Shouldn’t you be out for your Britain First Friday night canvassing?

Your 'I know you are, but what am I?' responses are always funny. Just because you hold highly prejudicial and bigoted views, doesn't mean we all do champ.
I refuse to watch this without the Russian women included.
What I read about Lindsay Sharp is not very flattering. It seems like she is always complaining about something within a race. Is that simply she is falling off what she did five years ago and is unhappy. When the camera's do an unclose of the athletes, everyone smiles and waves. She just glares and seems like.........well you fill in the blanks.
real question about Sharp wrote:

Very angry and bitter. Her behaviour and comments towards Caster Semenya in Rio showed just how mean-spirited she is.
Leaving aside all the puerile, and frankly unpleasant, comments about runners who were not in the race you have to admit that it was an exciting race only because all the runners were well matched in terms of mediocrity. Any one of the eight finalists could have won because all of them are equally far removed from genuine world class.
The men's final is shaping up in exactly the same way.
Would venture to suggest that with all this talk about 800 becoming an extended sprint endurance is being neglected by many coaches. How else can you explain half the field fading in the last 100 off a far from fast pace?

I'm pretty sure you haven't read anything about Lindsay Sharp.

A little harsh, don’t you think?
