I didn't see that one coming.
He went out hard and went for the gold and had nothing left.

So 1 guy broke 45.00? Only the winner would have been top 5 at NCAAs.
1. Norman, Michael SO-2 USC 43.61 10
2. Bloomfield, Akeem SO-2 Auburn 43.94 8
3. Allen, Nathon SO-2 Auburn 44.13 6
4. Harris, Mar'yea JR-3 Iowa 45.00 5
5. Richard, Tyrell JR-3 South Carolina St. 45.10 4
6. Igbokwe, Obi JR-3 Arkansas 45.16 3
7. Montgomery, Kahmari JR-3 Houston 45.75 2
8. London, Wil JR-3 Baylor 46.20 1

It's a very strong event in the NCAA and USA in general. Not really a surprise.
I remember the last Euros a guy did an 'analysis' of the NCAA meet in comparison, with the plan of proving that the Euros was weaker overall.
It wasn't close.

Hudson-Smith got to 300 with a massive lead and ran a lot of the home straight with a fridge on his back. Still fairly comfortably ahead.
Warholm went out hard but just didn't have anything left.
