I am trying to get back in shape after a long break (2 years). Historically, I've never been good at easy runs, running most of my miles at a moderate pace (6:50-7:20) completely drained at the end. Want to know if it is a good idea to instead do the easy/hard 80/20 rule with all my long miles at 8:00-8:30 pace. So basically getting rid of moderate pace entirely, with harder runs being steady state and tempos between 6:00 and 6:45, but limited to only twice a week.
