i'm pretty sure that football lists are pretty sloppy and need work.

Firstly, Amos is rapid and I'm glad he won. Korir should realise it's not about 400m pace (of which Amos has plenty btw) but that all out sprint in the last 100m. Amos is the best in the world at that. He's beaten Rudisha a few times doing the same thing
Secondly, this talk about footballers upsets me so I'll put this here. Watch the first 2:30.
Ronaldo gets absolutely DESTROYED by a nobody Spanish sprinter, Angel Rodriguez (?). Over a football distance also, 30m.
For those who can't be bothered to watch, both run 30m in football boots on synthetic grass. Sprinter does 3.3s Ronaldo does 3.6s.
So he lost by 2.5 meters in a 30m race, and extrapolating to 100m he'd lose by at least 8 meters but probably much more as the sprinter can hold his top speed for longer.
The sprinters acceleration is on a different level also, hitting a higher top speed in less distance than Ronaldo in their 30m runs.
2016
Best home-to-first averages on "competitive plays" (minimum 3 qualified plays)
1. Burns, LH, 3.85 seconds
2. Gordon, LH, 3.91 seconds
3. Hamilton, LH, 3.95 seconds
4. Delino DeShields, RH, 3.96 seconds
5 (tie). Jose Altuve, RH, 3.98 seconds
5 (tie). Ichiro Suzuki, LH, 3.98 seconds (at 41 years old!)
there are guys in japan now as fast as burns, ichero clocks 3.6low around age 30.

few PEDs and non-pro training gets you a 10.3 max.
put that in your racial genetics "analysis" pipe and smoke it
With -2.1 headwind. It's basic 10'11.
drats, full of sheit again. good one.
https://www.iaaf.org/news/report/texas-relays-2015-kiryu-bromell-barberLol. Angel Rodriguez is a 10.14 sprinter. If you trained Ronaldo for the 100 sprint specifically, he'd be a 9.9 sprinter in a year. Bale would probably be 9.7
Mate, stop posting right now. You don't know a damned thing about sprinting. 10.14 is a nobody, it's not even the World Champs entry standard!
3.3 vs 3.6 is the same winning margin as a 1:46 guy Vs a 1:55 guy. I chose 1:46 because it is also just outside the IAAF entry standard and you might understand middle distances better.
You've just watched the equivalent of a fit, well trained footballer lose in 1:55 to a guy running 1:46 and claimed that in a year the footballer would run 1:43 if he 'trained'.
You've no idea what you're talking about.
Very, very impressive finish and bounce back year from Amos, who seemed to be doomed never to get close to his 2012 form again.

Whoa, talk about not knowing what theyre talking about. For people who actually do know something about sprinting they do know that Rodriguez is not known for his 100 or 200 but his short sprints. He is world elite in the 60 with a 6.55, and only gets taster comparatively as the race gets shorter. His 5.77 50 meters is amazing and 30-40 meters is ridiculous. For Ronaldo to be that close to him is impressive. You may want to stop posting now.
3.3 is not close to 3.6! 0.3s is nearly 10% of the time spent running! How are you not grasping this simple maths?! I've had a few and I'm still managing it!
If we equate 3.3 to a 6.55 60m (in reality the 30m is not as good) then 3.6 would be 7.15. Which is a decent FEMALE time!!
In 100m Rodriguez would continue pulling away from Ronaldo and win by 10+ meters. Ronaldo would run in the 11 second range on a track and he trains by sprinting about every day. No idea where people are getting 9.9 from.
Lol. Maybe you need a few more to comprehend. They ran that 30m out of starting blocks. Rodriguez specializes in that and did everything right out of the blocks. Ronaldo obviously doesnt begin his sprints that way and did everything wrong out of the blocks. You really think he wouldnt improve a lot just by learning the technique? If they really wanted to make it fair it should have been a standing start. Also, you fail to mentiin how badly Ronaldo blew away Rodriguez in the slalom. That is truly telling of a soccer plyers speed and agility. Please. Have another drink.
Another thing you fail to consider is that Ronaldo outweighs Rodriguez by like 40 pounds. In these short events they just did it was an amazing display by the great one.

You have to take that with a grain of salt, especially after what the kenyans went through with the 3 day flight delay. Under normal circumstances, he would have one.
One what?
I first watched Amos when he obtained his silver medal in London. Upon a first glance, his form looks ragged, but upon examination, he has a tremendous forward push and knee-lift.
Query what the future holds for this very talented guy.

You have no idea of the conditions at the meet.
Also, you are writing off the results of West and Southern African male and female sprinters?? You are truly a moron.

Dude, Amos is fast... check his last 80m... kid can roll.. heard he was a 21-flat 200m performer in his prime, looks legit
Here's a question:
Why are white people so enamored with calling adult black men "kid"?
I can't recall anyone referring to Galen Rupp or Nick Symmonds as "kid" at 25?
Get defensive...now!

Also, because nobody wants to say so, this sprinter is a white Spanish male, so not exactly the fastest specimen available.
