Approximately none
Yifter was very quick at the end of a 10K.
I suspect he could be close on a flat 400
I was a 51 second 440 guy a million years ago. My best times were close to elite women's times. Anyone who was n elite 5K/10K guy should be able to be in the 49 second 400 range with a minimal focus on speed work.
I'm not talking about in a race. Just a one lap time trial sort of thing.
Aouita. Maybe Bekele.
Mo Farah
Most elite 5k guys can run 50. They are running close to 60 per lap for 13 minutes. They should be able to sprint for a measles 50 seconds.

All of them.
it's commonly believed you need a minimum of 52 sec 400m speed to run 13 flat.

Cova couldn't and he was known for his kick.
All of them
Almost all the WC and OG medalists since the 80s. If they could not kick a 54-7 at the end of the race, they did not get a medal. That means they have significantly more ability than that at the open 400m.
It depends on what you mean by "capable of." Quite a few have been capable of running 49.99 for an open 400m but VERY FEW could do it while training for the 10000m. In fact you could probably count them on one hand.
I think Doug Padilla could probably do it.
I disagree with another poster about Cova. The guy closed with a 53 last lap of the 10,000 in the WC in Helsinki in 1983. I think he can get under 50 in a one lap time trial.
Has not Canova told the story that he was present when they timed Cova for a 1-lap time trial and he was only a second or less faster without having run 24 slower laps before....?
Anyway, many elite 5k runners from the 80s onwards could run 1500 in 3:33 or faster. This would require at least 1:47 ability in the 800. And this in turn would usually mean being able to run below 50. So I'd say there might be a few who'd only manage around 51-52 but many of the faster ones with good 1500m times would be able to run 49,xx.

He closed in 54.
mead closed with a 51 at usa's 2017. He should be able to run 49.xx at the very least
Thought I heard Rupp ran sub 50 in training at some point.
