Until someone starts a spring thread I'll jump in, as posting here kept me motivated in spring of 2018.
My fall can be somewhat summed up in this thread

Ruled out any dangerous heart abnormalities with stress echo and ekg. Been supplementing Iron which seems to be helping. Also had some PT for a medial knee issue that sidelined me a bit in July. Ended up running 2:43 at NYC, which seemed reasonable given what I went through with my training. Wasnt overly disappointed but eager to come back for Boston.
Got sucked into doing Boston instead of changing it up by a friend who had a BQ-4:39. He didnt get in and Im headed back to the weather crapshoot for a fourth time.
Took one week off after NYC.
22 weeks out (11/12 to 11/18) - 36 miles, 4.5 hours
15 mile easy long run at 7:24 pace
21 weeks out - 60 miles, 8 hours
10 mile point to point with 2200' climb in Colorado
some very slow gnarly trail running in Hawaii
14.5 mile long run at 7:48 in Hawaii
20 weeks out - 71 miles, 9.5 hours
more slow trails in Hawaii
8.5 up Waimea Canyon Road at 9:20 pace, 3000' climb
14 easy at 7:21 pace in CO
17.3 moderate on Magnolia Rd (8000' elevation) at 7:31, 1400' climbing
Im focused on building mileage and getting in a lot of climbing at this point. Gotta get the quads strong.
