That was incredible. Maybe a he and resurgent Amos can battle to challenge Rudisha’s record??

Great race for Wightman (1:44.61). He will be tough to beat in a tactical 1500m at the European Championship

Yep, beat his pb by a second, two days after breaking his 1500 best in Monaco. He's now ranked in the top five for 800 and 1500 in Europe, first in the UK over 800 and second for 1500. And he was ill earlier in the week.
He joins Coe, Ovett, Cram, and Elliott as the only Brits to go under 1:45 and 3:34.
Someone please explain the straw on Thomas' head?
Thomas is very pretty.

Improving by a full second is a big ask. I don't think the guy that'll break it has joined the senior ranks yet.

Amazing stuff. What's the scoop on this lad - does he too suffer from asthma, anyone know?

No, we only know that watching East Africans run fast times these days is like watching the Rock body slamming Stone Cold Austin.

I like when Demireva kicks her butt :)
That 800 was crazy. I hope all these guys are running the DL Final so we can see the same kind of stacked race, but with a fresh Amos. Speaking of which, 1:43.29 is not bad at all 2 days after running that 1:42. I would’ve loved to see that Amos against Korir today but that’s still a crazy showing. Props to Murphy as well. It’s a bummer we don’t have Worlds this year, but hopefully most of these guys are still healthy enough to compete at this level next year.
Wow. Sifan Hassan. That was amazing.

Wow! No love for the W200? Jenna Prandini dominated a tough field. I guess this IS a distance-only site.
So can we say Laura Muir peaked like two years ago and it's all downhill from here?
