You're right . . . I could've sworn I saw him in the entries and I thought I saw him in the race, but it was McSweyn.

Ok i asked my wife. she thought the post was ridiculous so i deleted it and all replies.
Glad this is how we treat offensive comments on here. You defend your male feelings tooth and nail instead of listening to what people say until your wife tells you you were out of line. You never needed to try to defend yourself/fight back. Listen. Learn. Improve. I could care less about your family background and who you know. Your comment was out of line and it was posted on a website that doesn't always do best by women or people who aren't white. That doesn't mean you're a bad person or that you're sexist. The comment was sexist but you brought that label in. You got defensive and didn't want to listen. You have a responsibility to do better with this website towards women and people who are not white. That cannot happen if you respond the way you do when you make a mistake. Please, please, please, train your all male and all white staff. Bring in some new perspectives to the team. Things will improve around here.

Why did he let up before the line? I know he had it but Edris was also closing hard. Good run by him & a DL victory at 5000m for an American!

Great close by him, 52 second last lap FTW
YAWN what a boring race. at least try to keep it hot, watching the SC yesterday was so much more exciting despite being a one woman race.
Just happy he stayed in his lane and didn't get DQd.
In belgium tonight

The last of the 5000 was interesting. I haven’t seen a DL 5000m -with a big move ala Mo Farah (as they alluded to Kejelcha’s intention being) from basically 400m out- this season. Kejelcha definitely went way too early and betrayed himself with the constant looking around. Thought Hagos or Muktar was gonna get him til I saw Chelimo’s face. Great camera work on the BBC; more of those moving-cam frontal shots during the bell lap in the future please!
Warholm is GOAT Norwegian. Enough about the Ingebrigtsens.
Bravo!
Smart race from PAUL MF CHELIMO.
No extra distance, steady pace, first half of the pack, followed Kejelcha as he went then overtook him.
One can indeed blame the pacemakers (and Monaco's ugly camera work yesterday).

I'd rather see an American run a 12:56 and come in 13th, then see them run a 13:11 and win. Not to knock either, but that's my preference.
See my last thread on this.
yeah that's all fine and it was a hell of a kick to get around kejelcha but it was nowhere near as enthralling as the steeple yesterday, not to mention cutting away for ads/javelin for half the race (not that anything happened while they cut away).
Paul Chelimo!

Filip Ingebrigsten in the 5000m today after a NR in the 1500m yesterday in Monaco.
Nah.
Yes he is, but in Heusden
Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but isn’t Brussels/Zurich the Diamond League Final?
+1
The brojos don't make the worst posts here, but they could do more to change the culture on these boards by the tone they set and their confusingly ambiguous moderating system.

Hmm. I wonder how much faster Aikines-Aryeetey would be if he was a tad leaner and not so muscled up - especially in the chest. Or maybe it doesn't affect his sprinting much.
He's not that big. He's only 192. The biggest elite sprinter I know of right now is Erasmus from S. Africa. 6'5" and nearly 220lbs.
