I've been off for 2 months then I started training again. I've been training again for 1-2 months after been ill and I'm still 2 minutes away from a 5 k PR. I feel like that PR will never come back.
I'm doomed ?

Nah, just stay away from the likes of jamin and you'll succeed in life. Guys like jamin wills suck the life blood from your veins and burden you immeasurably with his emotional hang ups and his sorry spawn.
Hi Jamie! (Jamin's sister).
Just keep training! Knowing you, I know that you'll PR if you put your mind to it!
Move up to the 10K
Friday night and the times are slow
Looking out for a race to go
Where they run the right pace
Getting in the stride
You come to look for a King
Anybody could be that Jamin
Night is young and the tension's high
With a bit of whining
Everything is fine
You're in the mood for a PB
And when you get the chance

And get you a real coach. The very best one. Who? Starts with J and ends with S.

Join the club, it's all down hill from here.
In high school I got a stress fracture over the summer, took 8 weeks off and I barely ran any mileage during cross season. I was pretty far off my 5k PR. I had terrible workouts during indoor season and mediocre races. I felt like I would never PR again, but workouts started to come around during outdoor and I suddenly dropped 10 seconds off my 3200m PR mid season in a race I wasn't even going to run.
It'll come back.

Don't let the hormones get to you. Keep training. How old are you, anyways?
Sure you will....just find a new distance you haven’t tried yet. Instant PR.

You're right, you probably won't. Many girls hit their lifetime PRs early in high school for various reasons.
of course you will PR again, never say never, anything is possible, sometimes when you are most uncertain about your situation that's when you perservere. keep workin, keep tryin, keep enjoyin life and never never never give up!! WOOO WOO WOOO

You'll PR again because you are still probably young.
Me, on the other hand, is a whole different story. At 59 my chances of PR'ing are very very slim. I really don't think I'll match anything I did 35 years ago.
Hi Mary Cain!!!
