It is possible. I abandoned my gym membership about a year ago and switched to doing a high volume of pushups and pull ups, 10-12 min. of abs, and several sets of jumping lunges 3-4x a week. I have surely lost some strength from giving up heavier lifts, but I've still got that TONE, baby.

i mean i still plan to add more weight i made a homemade dip belt and currently doing about 8 reps of pullups with 45lb plate and about the same with dips. for right now pistol squats are workin my legs good my glutes and legs feel it baby but i plan to maybe some how add weight to those too somehow, maybe a plate in a back pack or something im not sure yet. i dont care for the gym atmosphere and equipment. i would rather become one of those bar stars dudes.
Abs, butt and calves is what women look at. That gymnast physique more attractive than Mr.Olympia. This coming from my three sisters, wife.
DIET, is huge.
So....crunchs, situps, calf raises, and everything that works that butt, which can be just laying on a bench and flex until ya burn.

I know I need to work my glutes, hams and quads more I think that will help with my running as well as they are pretty weak.. but are there any other good bodyweight exercises for them besides pistol squats? i am not goin to buy a olympic barbell set or squat rack so barbell squats and deadlifts are out of question.
If you wish to train with bodyweight only, the book "Project Kratos" is highly recommended. You obviously wish to not only train all major muscle groups (among those you left out--calves, traps, hamstrings, neck) but do so in a progressive way, so that you maximize your results.
Date a land whale and lift her overhead multiple times. Ain't that bodyweight?
You need to do Jack Lalanes face exercises:

Syringe pushes work pretty good for that.

Pound sand.
Eight minutes abs, everyday man.
I just gave up on the workouts after a certain age(they weren't working) and did an internet search for sheer clothing that supports and disguises man-boobs and belly jiggle. For the last 10 years I've strode across beaches and parks with total confidence using my trusses and girdles that are only visible withing 3 feet.
