I'm a college club runner for OSU's Running Club. I used to run the 400m, but this upcoming season I'm switching to primarily running the 800m. I've run it once the last two seasons, and ran a 2:04 and a 2:03.33.
What do I need to do to break 2 mins (and get my time as low as possible?)
I'm planning on training for XC this fall in order to build a good base for track season. I'm currently running ~18 miles a week, and building up. However, I'm not sure where I want to top out mileage-wise, and I'm unsure of how I can focus on speed while also building enough endurance.
