Hello friends and enemies, I'm curious if anyone has advice on strength-training exercises that are dynamic/movement-oriented. I've found I much prefer exercises that involve balance, coordination, medicine ball work, etc., as opposed to static stuff on machines or with dumbbells. My goal is a ~1 hour workout that hits all the main muscle groups, with a particular focus on core strength. Right now my routine is two sets of 10-20 reps of the following (mostly static) exercises:
- Bench
- Flys
- Bicep curls
- Tricep extentions
- Pullups
- Back extentions
- Rowing machine
- Calf raises
- Abductor/aductor machine
- Squats
- Walking lunges while moving a weight under my front leg
- Plank/side planks/reverse plank
- Bicycle crunches
- Leg drops (abs)
Thanks!
