Seriously, soccer posers are insufferable.

How many of the French players are actually French? Kinda reminds me of the US Olympic distance team.
The EPL is starting in a few weeks, and it has better TV ratings in the US than the NHL.

By "French" do you mean white? Because all but two players on France's roster were born in France.
Many other nations, however, fielded French-born players. In fact, there were 50 in total at this World Cup. It might be more accurate to call France the Kenya of distance running because they're huge net-exporters of talent.
Can't believe the referee decided that first half penalty for the French. Stole it from the People's Champion, Croatia. Having Macron present there for "influence" no doubt paid off. Nestor Pirana knew what he had to do.
"In a World Cup Final it is a big moment, and the referee stole that moment. It deflated them. All the bravura, all the extra energy, everything they showed in the previous three comeback games disappeared. This is exactly what this final did not deserve."
Shouldn't Paralympics World Cup follow on in a few days, like with the IOC?

Yeah, USA are the top seeds with their first team,
World Cup is Finally Over! Back to not caring about soccer for the next four years!
The Women's World Cup comes in two.
After the French finish celebrating, they will now have to pretend to care about the TdF.
I think the Third Place Game should occur after the Final, as nobody cares about it anyway.

French used to mean of Gallic blood.
But ethnicity is currently out of vogue.
"Place of birth" only matters to the USA people, with their Constitution (even then it gets ignored).
No one would consider Teresa Kerry Heinz to be African simply because she happened to be born in Mozambique.
Then there's the North/South divide in France... wrote:

No one should consider Boer farmers occupying ZA to be African either, no matter generations they reproduced.
Almost all of them.
Yes, because clearly hundreds of millions of people care about track and field in non Olympic years...
https://voiceofeurope.com/2018/07/anarchy-all-over-france-riots-and-looting-in-several-cities-after-world-cup-win/There were numerous incidents in other cities including Grenoble, Rouen, Le Havre, Nice, Cannes, Strasbourg and Nantes as anarchy spread throughout France.
It is unclear whether the French police are in control at the moment, but looking at scale of the riots, this seems very unlikely.
Before the weekend France already announced it would need 110,000 extra security personnel for protecting the public during its national holiday on 14 July and today’s World Cup final.
yeah, i don't care either wrote:

Well, that's Napoleon ruled out, then.
Yeah, I'm going to back to REALLY not caring, as opposed to just "sorta" not caring the last month.
PS: why have the "penalty kicks" tie-breaker?
Why not do like NASL like 4 decades ago, and have a 35-yard 1-on-1 with the goalie?
Simply because it's American (USA), so the World has to Hate on it??
