I got a pair of Fly knit racers gifted to me recently and I have so many other pairs of running shoes that I am thinking about using them as my casuals.

Yes, I wear a pair of Nikes all the time, mainly because I've had sore ankles and achilles for a while and they make walking more comfortable. And because of my pains and my age, I only run every other day, but try to walk a lot on the other days instead of an easy run. I try to walk quite fast for a lot of the time too, and also get into the habit of walking with longer strides, hoping it will translate to my running.
After a pair of trainers gets retired from running duty they become casual walking around shoes. Not every retired pair, usually depends on if they look more or less offensive than the current casual pair.
sometimes, mostly I wear the onitsuka tigers though

I do this or if there is a sale on a new pair I'll get some for walking.
Have a pair of Hokas for walkabouts. Because of some foot issues I had no problem wearing retired shoes at work either. Otherwise have several type of Merrells for easy hikes. Retired now only one pair of dress shoes for weddings and funerals.

Ditto. Retired running shoes are far more comfortable than anything else, and I am fortunate enough to have a job (university professor) where I can usually get away with wearing any sort of closed-toed shoes I want.
I'd wear new running shoes casually to break them in and then use them as trainers.
Any pair of retired trainers are unsuitable to wear casually.
They are for mowing the lawn.
Yep, currently walking around in Adidas Boost, Nike Lunar tempo, and New Balance Zante. I'll also walk around in retired running shoes if they're still in decent enough shape.
It's probably been over forty years since I've worn anything but running shoes.
nope

3000 pairs of shoes, and none are daily-wear athletic shoes? Hahaha
I like the classic look of adidas so i have a pair of adidas adios boost which are just too lightweight for me to run in without getting injured, but i enjoy wearing them as a casual shoe..
I wear Nike Free’s @ work and when I run , walk or hike. Why deviate from comfort?

I wear the onitsuka tigers as casual shoes, but I'll wear old running shoes if I'm doing something that could get them dirty.
