I was just perusing the $50.00 McMillan online training plans for 5K. Has anyone purchased and used the McMillan training plans? Did they help you reach your goals? I've been in a slump and need some direction.
Thanks.

To me, their plans in general are OK for a starter. It is best to find a personal coach, as everyone is different, so the plan as a generic one, might fit one person, but not work for another at all.
To find a personal coach for 2-3 sessions and a training plan for $100-200 is much better IMO.
Yes I have used them, and yes they are good. I was a member of his website for a while, and used the "endurance monster" half marathon plan a couple of cycles, and a 5K plan. McMillan is a Lydiard disciple and there's a lot of that influence in there.
If you have the premium Strava you can use a version of his plans. If you don't feel like paying $50 you can get his book and adapt the plans in there. One of the biggest goals of the book is to teach you how to adapt a training plan, and there are decent plans in there with ideas on how to adapt them.

I tried McMillan for a couple of months without any noticeable success. Then I tried with coach JS and his direct online coaching and my master 5K PR went from 16:30 to 15:37 in just two months followed.
