Anyone tried these? They are just out and look like the Hyperspeed 7 but with speedlaces for the triathletes. Loved and miss the Hyperspeed, it was my race shoe for about a decade.

No but was looking at them last night kind of slick looking. I wonder what are the odds of that boa system snapping and rendering the shoe useless though..

Not likely. BOA is pretty tough stuff and used in cycling, surviving crashes and such regularly.
I imagine it’s plenty durable for a running shoe.

Good to know, I'm not an Asics fan but I do use lock laces so this is an interesting design. Knowing my clumsiness though id probably break the dial.
