    Hi...So at big chain store perusing runninh shows. I wanted to get a feel of Brooks Ghost, which surprisingly can fit in a 2E in. Thinking when I get my order from Runners Warehouse that I may trade my 4E for a 2E for the GTS shoes I purchased.

    However, found another shoe. The store didn't have my size but I liked how light it was. It was the Brooks Ravenna. I never considered the shoe seeing as I always buy 4E but if I can fit into a 2E worth a look.

    My issue with the GTS is it feels stiff and heavy on my feet. The shoe is a good shoe just my own personal preference.

    Anyone have experience in the Ravenna? Is it a good marathon shoe? Also with the Ghost they didn't have the 11 in my size but they had the 10. With the 10 weird to describe it felt like the front of my foot was being bent forward while the back of my foot was being pushed up. Was this due to being a neutral shoe?

    Appreciate the insight.

    Ghost: neutral daily trainer

    Adrenaline GTS: stability daily trainer

    Launch: neutral lighter trainer for faster running

    Ravenna: stability lighter trainer for faster running

    So you should probably be looking at either one set of these or the other, not mixing and matching. If you don't typically run in stability shoes, try the Launch. I didn't like the Launch as a daily trainer, but right now it's working great for tempo runs. I've liked every pair of Ghosts I've owned, but haven't tried the 10.

    I've owned the Brooks Ghost 10s for a year now, 600 miles, about to retire them, and get another pair. If you aren't able to try both on for running (which differs a lot from normal feel usually), I'd go for the Ghost 10s. They usually fit on basically everyone, so the chance of you liking them are a lot higher. They're good, they're sort of heavy but for training, they're great.

    If a new balance store is near you, check it out. They are known for carrying multiple widths.

    I don't know about New Balance. I always get fitted with the 8's. Those shoes always have this spot in the middle of the feet that feels like a small ball is going into my feet.
