I only drink beer after a hard run, or hard workout. Don't expect me to run 30 minutes light and then go to the liquor store and buy some IPA's.
The reason why I'm self conscious about this topic is because I recently graduated and now I'm home. I've been drinking beer for the past year, and since I live about a 5 minute walk away from the liquor store, I go in and buy 2-24 ounces of beer every day.
I have rum and vodka in case I have a few old friends visit, but I prefer drinking beer.
Anyways I wonder if this is a bad habit. And I've been on Reddit reading about alcoholism, and it seems like every cashier/clerk at a liquor store knows if someone is an alcoholic.
I think of Sage Canaday, Pre, and Nick Symmonds - they're all runners who love beer.
I see the same clerks/cashiers every day. But I drink enough to get tipsy and not full out drunk.
I have a friend who never drinks, and he's going to be an accountant soon. He has the worst / judgmental personality, and he's always negative. I don't trust people who don't drink. Like what's their outlet?
I love going for hard runs / sweating until I'm close to heat stroke. And then drinking a cold beer is the best feeling in the world.
I run almost every day so I go to the same liquor store every day. This is within the realms of appropriate alcohol drinking right?
Who else has drinking problems and is a runner?
