I have a few size 12s, so no help. I run/hike without stoneguards or insoles. The idea of the Superior is minimalism. Toughen up your feet, a few stone pressure points won't do any damage.

I actually usually run in some much more minimal than these (Xero and TGs); these are actually my molten-lava/jagged-bones-of-my-enemies shoes.
But I do get a weird sense of pride that someone considers my max-protection shoes “minimalist”, lolz
