I know I'm not alone. I just think it's a junk song, uber derivative, heavy on cliché, and the words "feet" and "feel" occur way too much.

Your husband is right!
He's right, you're weird.
Three out of three people agree...you are weird.
The Cher version is much worse.

Wannabe classic.
He's right, unless you're not American. Then you might not be weird.

It drove Elizabeth Vargas to drink.
I live in Memphis and I can’t stand it.
Pretty sure the fact all these people on LR disagree with you is a good thing...
Song suuuuuucks.
I don't like it but if Framing Hanley (?) did a remake I bet the video would be cool. Cool as their Lil Wayne lollipop remake. Or what if Lil Wayne tried it?
That song is terrible
Does he like the song "Walking to couch" because that's where you should send him tonight.
Framing Hanley is a Nashville band
"Tell me are you a Christian child?"
And I said "Ma'am I am tonight"
The emotion in which Marc Cohn sings these lyrics is what makes this song amazing. Cohen was Jewish, but one night an elderly gospel singer asked him to sing along with her in a club. Very moving.

This just isn't a good song. Catchy, but not good. He's faking the funk.
