Booing a cyclist for doping is like criticizing a sumo wrestler for being fat.

The french don't want an english or american person to rule their sport, which is why they went after lance so hard, and will go after Chris in the same manner.
However, the spanish, italians, and the french can dope all day long ....Did they boo Alberto Contador after he tested positive?

Yes, the French did boo Alberto Contador at the 2011 Tour when he test positive in the months before. Your anti-Euro bias is showing.

Yes they did, and if you knew or followed the sport, would have known that and not end looking like a derrière.
"Proceedings against Froome were dropped by cycling's governing body, the UCI, following a nine-month investigation into his adverse test result given at last September's Vuelta a Espana.
Froome had always maintained his innocence and his - and Sky's - explanation for the adverse test result was accepted by the UCI, based on advice from the Word Anti-Doping Agency. "

In other news related to Team Sky and drug trafficking of prohibited substances, illegal injections, employment of Sky's Bradley Wiggins' Eastern Bloc doping expert Doctor Heiko Salzwedel:
Wiggins had always maintained his innocence and his - and Sky's ad nauseum..

WTH?? In 1997 French cyclist Richard Virenque, riding for the Festina team, was runner up to Jan Ullrich in the Tour de France and the 1998 Tour route was pretty much made for a climber like Virenque to have a great shot at winning. However during the first week of the 1998 Tour, the Festina team masseur was caught with doping products at the Belgium frontier customs check, a few hundred miles from the race itself and the entire Festina team incuding Virenque were rightly booted out of the Tour by the French Tour de France organizers themselves (none of the Festina team had failed a drugs test up to that point in time). Virenque was booed by some in the crowds when he rode in the 1999 Tour.
Compare this situation to Froome's right now; he has failed a drugs test (we only know because the results were leaked indicating corruption in the sport's governing bodies) and doping products (testosterone patches) have been found at Team SKY's headquarters, yet no meaningful bans have been given to Froome or any of the SKY team. Of course he is going to be booed by some when he takes part in races. Sure he is not the only guy doping but there is more evidence pointing towards Team SKY doping than many of the other teams right now.

You are missing that Froome he's been CLEARED. If Wiggins is dirty i am sure they will find out.

Lance Armstrong only failed one drug test officially and that was "cleared".

Yes, they did. Congratulations, you continue to establish yourself as one of the most idiotic and misinformed posters on this forum.

Clutching at straws.... yawn
Froome was "cleared" by WADA, yes, but this just made the situation worse.
Froome had four x the amount of asthma medicine allowed in his system.
Froome should have been suspended while this played out, but didn't have to.
During this period and before this, three other UCI pro riders WERE sanctioned for the same ×PEDS use and they had one year suspensions.
The TDF was not going to let Froome compete this year until 3 days prior to race start WADA determined Froome's excuses were good enough to clear him.
This reeks, family or not of Froome.
Bad precedent.
Bad PED deterrent.
Cycling truly is, has, and will be tainted.

The French were quite supportive of Greg Lemond, so I think you are making a simplistic remark about their attitudes.

Yeah, that's the positive attitude to clean up the sport. Bravo douche bag!
There's really not.
SKY have gone through ridiculous scrutiny over the last few years and all they've come up with in all that time is stuff that probably happens during a slow week for most teams.
Anybody without bias and half a brain wouldn't count the Salbutamol nonsense as being cheating or even a genuine failed test. It's just you angry guys needed something to get your teeth into.
Imagine if Movistar or Astana, or a team like UAE had to go through a governmental investigation? It would be carnage.
