I have been using the Avanti Boosts this past track season for 3000m and Steeplechase. They have worn down a bit on the sole from the steeplechase but would they hold up for a whole cross country season?

The problem is lack of a 6th spike on the outer edge.
You could prob use them if you don't care if they wear out before track. I raced a season in a pair of track spikes and it went ok. I wish I'd had regular xc spikes on a couple muddy courses, but I liked the quick, aggressive feel on long stretches of grass.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
