Hey guys,
I was wondering what the difference is between the NB Fresh Foam Zante and Fresh Foam Zante Breathe? Is the only difference in the fabric used on the upper or are there more differences between these two shoes?

think midsole identical
in the case of breathe 2 & 3 was just a difference in the upper
Thanks for your response, but I should have clarified that I was referring to the first version, not v2 or v3. Anyone have any ideas?

I can provide you with great feedback, since the new balance zante v2 breathe is my favorite shoe of all time. I have had close to 10 pairs of them, and i just recently found 2 brand new pairs.
The fresh foam in the breathe is not as hard as in the regular Zantes. The regular zantes can be a little on the hard firm side, and can take a long time to soften up a bit. The upper on the breathe is a perforated mesh, so it gets better air flow, and it is a lot lighter. It has a racing flat feel to it, and it makes for a great racing shoe from 5000m on up.
The negative is that it provides no warmth during the winter, and it has no water protection. The shoe will get soaked during a down pour and will feel like a wet sock, making it almost impossible to run it. But it is not designed for that. I still wear the shoe through all seasons, except if it is raining hard.
The other downside is that the shoe is only good for about 200-250 miles. Once it looses its pop it really goes south. You will notice a difference in the shoe's responsiveness once the shoe accrues 150 miles.
Thanks for the information!
