Hi, I mostly only run in my superfeet for my training for XC and track, how many miles do I need to run in them before getting a new pair or how long before I should?
Thanks

I run 50 miles a week and I had the same superfeet for five years. They are still good. I keep thinking I should get a new pair.
Considering it says 500 miles on the box, you should probably get some new ones.
A podiatrist told me that as a general rule, they should be replaced once a year if you are running regularly in them. Another podiatrist said to inspect them for their rigidity by flexing and twisting them and replacing them if they were not like a new pair.
I've used CurrexSole and SofSole orthotics and they seem to feel totally dead after 1000 miles or so, though the mechanical support remains. Compare the feeling of your old SuperFeet with that of a brand-new stock sockliner/insole and you'll feel how much even that 1-2mm of foam matters to the perceived softness of the cushion.
If you're OK with that, you can probably still use your old orthotics. But any cushioning benefit of the SuperFeet insole is likely gone after a few hundred miles. I'd get a new pair of orthotics for every two new pairs of shoes.
Depends on your mileage and event, but I'd recommend replacing them every 4 months if you're running more than 40mpw. Also depends on what level of support your shoe has; I'd replace them less frequently if you have shoes with pronation control, more if your shoes are built for a more neutral stride.
