Nvm you all. I did break 26?. The course was measured almost 300m longer than it should have. So that's fine with me in my book. So about 25:30 or 25:40. I will be going after sub 25. Thank you all for listening to my rants! I appreciate it!

Anyone else here interested in keeping this thread going through track season?
I just did my first "workout" of the year which was a 3 mile steady state at 5:55 pace. These next 3 or so weeks will probably be steady states, strides, and maybe a "sprint workout" while trying to hit ~50 miles. I'm probably going to try to peak around late may/early june or whenever I make a visit back to Oregon this spring, so track workouts probably won't start til February or so.
My goals for track season (in order of importance) -
sub 4:00 1500 (current pr of 4:03)
sub 8:40 3k (current pr of 8:59)
sub 15:15 5k (current, pretty old pr of 15:44)
sub 2:00 800 (current 2:01, this one should be pretty easy to get)
sub 32:25 (my pr) 10k, onlyif I can find a good road race nearby but won't be training for it specifically
Yeah let's keep it going! I'll have to come up with a new track season since I moved to the East coast this year, so if anyone knows of competitive meets in the New England area lmk (I'm in connecticut)
Goals:
Sub 15 5k (PR 15:01, hopefully sub 14:50)
Sub 31 10k (PR 31:58)
Sub 8:30 3k (PR 8:43) Provided I can find a 3k
If I run a 1500 or 800 I'll try to run ~4:05 and low 2's
Had my first workout this week with 5.5 mile tempo @ 5:27 which I was surprised with after not doing a workout since November. Will probably stick to tempos, some form of shorter stuff (200s/300s at mile pace and lots of strides), and decent mileage + long run until march since I'm not planning on having much of an indoor season.
Hope to have some more people join in.
This week was pretty good. 200s were on a turf track so hopefully 'worth' a little faster
M - 10 + strides
T - 8 w/ 12x200 @ 33ish
W - 10
Tr - 10 + strides
F - 8
Sa - 10 with 6m tempo @ 5:28
Su - 14
Total - 70 miles
Sure, Let's keep it going!
I am currently dealing with an injury, which sucks.
My goals for track season (in order of importance) -

sub 4:25 mile (current pr 4:30)
sub 2:30 1000m (current pr 2:35)
sub 2:00 800m (current pr 2:01)

My week was pretty good. last week was about 45 with 4 miles steady at 5:50 and lots of strides.
M - 8 including 4 steady in 23:47, first 2 uphill in 12:25 and and last 2 downhill
T - 8 w/ 10xstride in the middle
W - 9.5
R - off
F - 8
S - 8 with 8x200 at 32-33 w/200 jog on indoor track. Felt greay
S - 4.5 (big snowy and 10 degrees outside) so probably worth like 10 miles
Total - 46
I'll probably try to do a real workout this week and I'll finally have people to run with
