I noticed the Nike Zoom Elite 9's are on clearance on Running Warehouse. Does anyone know if they are making a Zoom Elite 10? Possibly with new full zoom like the Pegasus 35? Is the shoe being replaced?

The Elite 10s are already available in runningwarehouse Europe, so I think they will soon be available in the US!

No way is that the zoom elite 10. That is basically the zoom elite 9 in another colorway.
I believe the model has been discontinued.
It is the Zoom Elite 10. Minimal changes to the upper. Expect the same great shoe.

Okay, I just talked to running warehouse, and you are correct. Nike did release a new version of the model.
One thing, it's looks just like version 9, just a different colorway.
Also, I remember a nike representative posting on her stating that the model had been discontinued. I even talked to some reps at nike.com some months back, and they said the same thing.
This seems similar to the lunaracer 4, where they released a new model, only to discontinue it months later. If so, that’s two great shoes gone in a years time.
They designed it, they were going to discontinue it, people got whiny, they decided to make it after all. Minor update refresh, same midsole, low investment, probably decided it was worth it if people like it.
I'd buy the ZE9 on sale because the changes seem insignificant.

I'm hoping the upper material is different--more like the Pegasus maybe? I really didn't like whatever they made the Elite 9 out of--it felt really cheap and didn't hold up well. Meanwhile my Pegasus upper looks practically new at over 400 miles.

Yeah I also heard that the zoom elites were being discontinued in favor of the Peg turbos but idk. Maybe this is similar to the LT3 to Lt4 update where they practically did nothing besides change the color way. Still waiting on the Turbos.

ZE9 is significantly lighter than Peg, that´s why it doesn´t hod up as well. It´s not meant to be used as a heavy mileage shoe, but rather a shoe for faster days.

I agree that the shoe isn't supposed to be the Pegasus but if you compare it to it's competitors I think its durability is still questionable. NB 1400, 1500, Saucony type A8, Adios Boost. All these shoes have lasted me much longer than my ZE9s did. I loved the shoe and it may have been my favorite of those I mentioned but it lasted
I love running in zoom elite 9! Sad to see it go.
According to Jamison Michael who was recently hanging out with the Running Warehouse people, the shoe was about to be canceled. People complained, so they brought it back, but it is essentially the same shoe. It has minor upper updates, but that is about it. I was curious to see if they would give it the Pegasus 35 full zoom treatment. I like the Epic Reacts for everyday training, and they are definitely light enough for speed work, but the ride isn't necessarily designed for it. I'm not a fan of the Zoom Fly. Maybe the Pegasus Turbo will be a good fast day shoe, but I'm not sure if they are going for a everyday or a lightweight shoe with that one.
I’ll continue to buy Zoom Elite 9s and 10s, but eventually I’ll run out. What’s a good alternative to Elites?

Adidas Boston.... but I wouldn't lose hope for Elite 11 to happen eventually, they made Streak 7 too so Nike isn't going all in on Vaporfly/ZoomFly/Turbo/React approach.

No, it's the same as always: midsole and outsole get updates every two years, upper gets updated every year. Just like most running shoes.
What's the replacement for these? Is the Adidas Boston really the best alternative? The Boston's don't have any forefoot cushioned and for me the defining feature of the Zoom Elite was the zoom crash pad in the forefoot. Those Boston's are also not nearly as flexible.
Do Brooks, Rebook, Sketchers, or UA make a substitute for the Elite?
There's the Nike Rival Fly - it feels the same as the elite 9 & 10, but a bit wider in the forefoot.
it's pretty much Asia-only, but I've seen 2 colorways at DSW/JC Penny's/Marshalls (of all places)

Skechers Razor 3 feels very good in the midfoot/forefoot. Reebok Floatride Run Fast is the better version of the Boston/Adios
