Crush them? It’s gonna be a tight race, if anything a slight edge would be given to Wesleyan. But i don’t understand what makes you think Wartburg should crush them.

Wartburg alumni here. Can't wait for the race to get going but no way do Wartburg women crush NW. Zero chance. NW the favorite. Should be close.

OK, I will admit when I am wrong. The Nebraska Wesleyan women did it again. 3 in a row? Damn, they always seem to step up. As an IIAC alum I just did not know they were this tough.

Looks like men’s race went about as expected. Wartburg is really deep. Loras packed well. Looks like Wesleyan could have beaten them if they had a 5th man. Luther did much better than expected. Can’t believe someone thought Wartburg women would crush Wesleyan. Them women can run. Besides distance runners, their 400 girls are ridiculous. Fun to watch.

Looks like they won't get 4 years of 3rd place... NWU is good but not as big of a team as the perrenial powers of Wartburg, Loras, and Central, which is why I said Central would get 3rd in the first place. Luther peaks at the right time to get 3 ahead of Central's 1 and Trey and Facio score low enough for Simpson to slip by. They really are a better team than their 6th/9 teams finish shows. With a larger field at Regionals, I could see Central improving their place among ARC schools.

It never makes sense to me why Wartburg gets so much hate on the boards. It's not like they've been a powerhouse team forever. This year was their first title in like 15 years. And their athletes seem fine. Dubuque will have kids each year kicked out of school for alcohol or assault, Luther runs sloth slow for months and then annoyingly shows up at conference every year, Central (seriously) is a cult, Loras's campus is crumbling from age and meth labs, and even Simpson, my own alma mater, underperforms at big meets like clockwork. I don't mind hating on Wartburg, but i feel we should extend that hating to other teams as well. I expect BV insults within the hour.

Nope. Can't insult BV. Then they won't have enough kids to make a team. Plus, no one from BV is a big enough runner to even know what Letsrun.com is.

Wartburg did even better than expected vs MIAC competition. That was a resounding win yesterday. How will they stack up at nationals?

Luther also ran fan freaking tastic, although their season is now done. Central unable to overcome Simpson's 1 2 & even 3.

As for individuals, Clay Simpson goes lights out again to get what is from what I can tell, the last individual qualifying spot.

I see a podium team out of Wartburg, their average had to be one of the best across he nation this weekend.

How fast is the Wartburg course? I wasn’t able to see every part of the course but it looks medium fast

Based on pre-natties they're not podium yet. But a very young team, so look out.

How many All-Americans do you think we are going to see out of the IIAC this weekend? And who?
