Alright y'all, I'm going to make the leap into GPS watches, because logging all the mileage manually has become a drag. I read some of RunnersWorld's online reviews, but their rhetoric is repetitive and vague at best. Looking for something cheaper than $400.
Currently I use the TIMEX Ironman, so it's got time-of-day , a counting-up feature (with 30 laps), a counting down feature, and three alarms. I don't use the alarms much but they're nice to have when I do need em.
What I like about mine now is that it's pretty straightforward, has a nice clear display with big numbers that are easy to read while in motion, and has buttons on the sides so I can operate it without looking down in the middle of a run.
Are these qualities easy to find in a GPS watch? Lots of the ones RunnersWorld previewed had screens that seemed cluttered.
