Fake News on every girl on BTC running high mileage see Colleen Quickly 50-60 miles + a lot of swimming. Only concern is the group is far too saturated, they need to trim some fit. You can't coach 20 elite guys and gals and give them the individual care and attention they need. If Jerry doesn't actively do something about this problem, I wouldn't be surprised to see a few members leave.

Nah, Grace is a poor fit and will leave soon, poor Murielle will be cut from not being at the super elite level, infeld will likely get married and hang em up after 2020, and Flanagan is retired. You'll also notice that without any pomp and circumstance, Dan retired.

All good points. Take what i said with a grain of salt, most of what I know about BTC is from social media. Even just based on the pictures i'm astonished at how many bodies are on the track at any given moment. It really seems like you have to be able to thrive on limited guidance to have success there. Should be interesting to see what comes of the group in the next 5 years.

Also speaking of trimming fat, i always wondered what Sammy Silva's deal is. Is She sponsored by nike? Coached be Jerry still? She joined "jerry's group" forever ago and when she does race she still wears the BTC pro singlet, but she seldomly races and is def not at the level of the others in the group. Also on insta it appears she never really trains with the other women besides occasional easy runs with infeld

Hmmmm...hardly "limited"...Jerry is at every single track workout for every single athlete...and many of the tempos. Pascal also plays a role in designing/overseeing workouts for the steeple people.

I think she was just very injury prone and couldn't handle the intensity. Based on her social media it looks like she's still training and did her first workout in a while recently. If she can put things together for a couple months she'll drop some pretty good results.

Even though the members use that term themselves, isn't "bowerman babe" sexist/elitist? Does it mean ugly girls can't run for the team?
