Amazing and disturbing story. Young lady deletes an email to her boyfriend accepting him into a prestigious music school, then turns down the offer in his name. He finds out about it years later then wins the lawsuit. See link.

Why would you feel it is appropriate to post this on a running forum? This has literally nothing to do with running, not even tangentially. Nothing even remotely related to running is mentioned in this article and this article doesn't even have broad appeal. It isn't a political article or a life style piece. It a report about a Canadian clarinet player and his crazy ex-girlfriend's lawsuit. A lawsuit that was resolved in default judgment because she never showed up to court.
What happened? Did you spend the morning huffing paint and then found this article and said "oh gee, this would be perfect for me to post on a forum for runners". Did you mistakenly think this was LetsOrchestra.com?

I appreciated this story.
Thank you.

What's worse is that he didn't even post pics of the girlfriend.

It's just one of two reasons:
1. Doesn't know what Reddit is
2. No friends
Could be both.

Sort of meta to troll as an aggravated LR poster, but you got some bites.
2/10
Odds are the guy or the girl is a hobby jogger. Thus, this story fits into letsrun.
There's a LetsOrchestra.com? Cool!

And the tangential connection to school and scholarships is to make sure you know the difference between "there" and "their".

Honestly I am unsure what lesson we should take from this story. Just that people are deeply flawed, and you ought to assess the character of those we hang around.
