Damn, England doesn't have a good history of PK.
England through on penalties, what a joke!
Finally, the English are through! fockers, they made me sweat
Belgium and England alive and well!
Oh, god bless that poor Colombian who missed the kick. If Colombia doesn't advance, he may be in trouble.
England wins
Apparently their first ever PK WC win
England thru...on PKs!!!!
Harry Kane is a beast on PKs. Been a long time since I've seen someone make it look so easy...maybe harkening back to the days of Eric Cantona

Was it Andre Escobar for Colombia who got the own-goal vs US and was murdered when he got home? Or was that a drug cartel?
For reals, I hope that kid finds a way to go somewhere else but home.

I forgot about Le Tissier! Yeah, guy was a stud both from the spot and for Southampton!
england v colombia was pretty much what non-soccer fans squint at about soccer.
one goal, people flippety floppeting all over place obviously fake, horrible sportsmanship on both sides, all kinds of weird touching going on, bad reffing, no organized offense, a penalty goal being as important as a real goal, and then 30 minutes of overtime resulting in zero.
penalty kicks are always sort of fun tho.
Yeah, it was Escobar. He was murdered by a member of a drug cartel at a party, but it didn't happen right away. Also, it wasn't planned. He just happened to be at a night club, and one of the men called him a wus or something for his error. I guess Escobar got heated and it escalated.
But notorious drug king pen Pablo Escobar put out a cease fire order on Andre. That is why no one made an attempt on his life until the skirmish that took place at the party. Pablo Escobar loved the national team and the players.
There is a 30 for 30 documentary on the matter, which was presented by ESPN. It is a must watch.
Is the falling down and flopping around on the ground a spinach culture thing? Man these "guys" sure are pussies
Solve it - have them come off for 2 min and or give a yellow card
England almost snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Sweden are solid if unspectacular. I think England will get past them.
Can someone explain to me why Sweden keeps chugging along? They have a bunch of scrubs out there. They remind me of the 4th line of an NHL team.

Besides Croatia, Uruguay, and Belgium, I haven't been impressed with any of the other teams. Overall talent wise, Sweden is on par with Russia, England and France.
